International union of Russian-speaking Jewish journalists being created
An information Internet portal for communication between Russian- speaking organizations will be established on the base of the WCRJ website.New organizations, including the Association of Israeli Businessmen and others, will join the Israeli section, WCRJ President Boris Shpigel said speaking at the event.
In general, the number of organizations entering the WCRJ in Israel grew from 28 to 37.
"We have become stronger and more coherent. The same ideology, the aspiration to resolve problems of the Russian-speaking Israeli, and the aspiration to make the voice of Russian speaking Jewry in Israeli strong and influential unite us," Shpigel said.
The meeting also approved the list of the commission of the Israeli section of the Congress and chairmen of the commissions for strategic planning, for social and female issues, for work with youths and the second generation issues, for external relations and international affairs, for education and for human rights, he said.
