On Holocaust denial by the Gov't of Iran

We, the participants of the The Berlin conference "Legacy of the Second World War and the Holocaust" firmly condemn the Iranian government and  it’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for a systematic policy of Holocaust denial and distortion of reasons, the mechanism and the terrible consequences of this tragedy.

The Iranian leadership is now the conductor of the criminal ideology of Holocaust denial, it openly provides a platform to international forums that aim to falsification of history and revision of the tragic events of WWII.

Denying the Holocaust is used as an instrument of the Iranian leadership to promote a contemporary form of anti-Semitism - to reject the right of Israel to exist and to spread anti-Israel sentiment across the international community and in the mass media.

Iran has repeatedly called for and continues to call for the destruction of Israel, the country, which was created in order to ensure that the horrors of the Holocaust will the never repeat. We can not tolerate such a policy carried out by a member of the international community, such statements constitute a real danger to the entire free world.

We demand that the entire world community will express  clear, strong condemnation of  the Iranian leadership and strongly denounce the policy of outright anti-Semitism, held in the form of Holocaust denial and anti-Israelism.

Participants of the international conference "Legacy of World War II and the Holocaust”, calling on leaders of the international community not to repeat the tragic mistakes of the past, which proved that xenophobia, in any form, must be fought with real actions.

We call the free world to make every possible effort to prevent the recurrence of the terrible events of the Holocaust.
